About a year ago I was looking for a website host provider for my wordpress install. I looked at iPages, Bluehost, and HostGator. These seemed to be the most common ones out there that came recommended from other sites.
I signed up with Bluehost first. They were not cheap (the most expensive of the bunch) So many people were raving about how great they were that I figured it was worth the price. I was met with problem after problem. Things started out pretty bad just with the install of wordpress. Most other sites offered 1 click installs, they needed me to FTP in to get it installed. This was a huge turn off. The site never did work well, and I quickly abandoned the whole plan and moved to iPages.
iPages has a great 1 click install, and the hosting is reasonably priced. Online support is great too.
