End of the World

Its the end of the world this year according to the Mayan Calendar

First of all Happy New Year!

Reflecting on 2011 I find a few things that I will focus on improving for the coming year. No, there is no “work out more”, or “lose weight” goals in my future. I intend to create a better body for myself, but its not my main focus this year.

Soon after we ushered in the new year, maybe watching Dick Clark and Ryan Seacrest as the ball dropped over New York a lot of peoples minds turned to the end of the world! It is forecast after all to end in 2012. I am sure most people have heard about the Mayan Calendar and how it ends on Dec 2012. Oh No!

Not to worry. I have spent some time looking into all this. And while I am not a superstitious guy, its still intriguing to wonder why the calendar is the way it is. Here is a great article from National Geographic about the Mayan Calendar, and why it really isn’t what the media is hyping it to be.

There are plenty of other things to worry about in this coming year. If your not a goal setter that’s fine. Maybe take some time and think about things you would like to achieve this year. If any of those things have to do with creating more time for your family, or having the means to go on more holidays, or just own more “stuff” then let me help you!
